Ignore Functions

Shortcut Doctor allows you to omit shortcuts from processing based on both the physical location of the .lnk or .url file on you hard disk and the path specification that is present within a shortcut.

File Masks are used to specify paths to ignore based on the physical location of the .lnk or .url file on you hard disk.

Options-Ignore is used to specify shortcuts to ignore based on the path they reference.

For example, assuming your CDROM drive is drive K:\ and your ZIP drive is M:\, by using a file mask such as "*.lnk;*.url;~\windows\start menu\utilities" and an Options-Ignore specification of "K:\;M:\", you could omit from processing any shortcut files located in "C:\ start menu\utilities" and any shortcuts that contain references to your CDROM and ZIP drives.

See File Masks and Options-Ignore for more information.
